Yes, this is really a modular home, proving once again that you don’t have to have your dream home built stick by stick on your lot in all kinds of weather.

This beautiful ranch home was built by Homeway Homes, a modular home manufacturer in Illinois, for Scott and Brenda Dean. A video interview of their decision to go with Homeway Homes and modular is at the end of this article.

The house, located in rural Astoria, IL, was based on one of Homeway’s standard plans, the Camden but customized by the Dean’s to fit their lifestyle.

The main floor is 2,581 sq ft plus a fully finished basement with a bar. Sounding better by the minute, isn’t it.

It features 3 bedrooms, office, and exercise room with 3-1/2 bathrooms 3 car finished attached garage. The interior features many upgrades and options including 3 panel, poplar stained doors and trim, Quartz countertops in the kitchen with backsplash tile and Maple, stained cabinets.

Other interesting interior features of this home include LVP wood flooring, ceramic and carpet, a Fireplace with side bookshelves, Ceramic tiled showers and custom glass doors, 9′ ceilings, tray ceilings and archways and a Custom wood stained arched front door.

The exterior finds Casement windows, a 9/12 pitch roof with All Brick and stone with archways at the front porch and a custom back porch and patio.

Check out the pictures again and see if you could have done this house from permits to occupancy in only 5 months! From “set day” to occupancy took only 3.5 months!

Congrats to Homeway Homes for one of the most beautiful homes I’ve featured in the Modcoach “Home of the Week” series.
